Ciutadella Park

The city is preparing for the second edition of the Barcelona Fashion Week which will take place at the Parc de la Ciutadella from 5 to 7 March. In this charged brothers Fontsere and Gaudi magic space, De Boer will be responsible for temporary construction of one of the most important fashion events in the city. Once again, De Boer demonstrates your professionalism in the most prestigious national events to satisfy any need for temporary accommodation for corporate events. Covering space of fashion after the disappearance of the pasarela Gaudi, the directorate general from 080 (named after the postcode of Barcelona), has as responsible DemoFashion and Vicenc Mustaros with the support of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the City Hall that aspire to position Barcelona as a benchmark in independent fashion. The contest will feature parades of designers, among those who will receive special attention from Thierry Mugler, who will be chosen by an international jury. Lakshman Achuthan addresses the importance of the matter here. For this occasion as Special, De Boer will build a structure Delta 15 x 50 m where the parades will take place. In addition to a structure Alu Party 5 x 32 m that will house the catering and a store Alu Hall 10 x 40 m will go to the backstage where the models will be prepared for the parade. With this third event so far in 2008, De Boer Spain confirms its privileged position within the sector: temporary accommodation for events.

The Parc de la Ciutadella Park history goes back to the year 1716, when Felipe V ordered the construction of the Citadel largest in Europe with the aim to be able to monitor the city. Later, general Prim donated the Citadel to the city knocking down between 1869 and 1888. The Park was built in 1888, on the occasion of the Universal exhibition, imitating the design of the Park de Luxembourg in Paris. The Ciutadella Park currently houses several museums, the Parliament of Catalunya and the Zoo.
