DEGERenergie Drives Forward

CSA/UL certification for TOPtraker systems granted Horb a.N., 26 March 2009 DEGERenergie, world market leader in the field of tracking systems for solar plants, another important step for entry into the US market did: now the uniaxial DEGERenergie TOPtraker systems have the CSA/UL certification required in the United States. The tracking systems by DEGERenergie increase the energy yield of photovoltaic systems by up to 45 percent. Now granted certification applies to 8.5 NT and TOPtraker 40NT among the single-axis low-cost models in DEGER TOPtraker. The TOPtraker 40NT DEGERenergie has developed especially for the U.S. market. The system is designed for up to 40 square metres of module area and has a capacity of 4,000 to 6,400 WP. With the TOPtraker 40NT, DEGERenergie expanded its product range to a low-cost model, which technically improved, significantly larger sized and is more efficient than previous models. The system produces a higher by up to 30 percent energy efficiency than static installed solar modules.

It is designed for the installation in open spaces in medium to large solar parks and as a carrier and tracking system is suitable for all common photovoltaic modules. Different versions of latitude can be used from the equator to 60 are available. This covered most of the regions of the Earth. Boom in demand from the United States, Artur Deger, founder and Managing Director of DEGERenergie: we have developed the TOPtraker 40NT for use in solar farms and in particular the United States at a glance. There the awareness of energy-saving and environmentally conscious production matures, and fortunately more and more solar parks occur.

I am convinced that we have excellent opportunities with this product on the U.S. market.\” Recently, DEGERenergie experienced a veritable boom in demand from the United States, which has hardened after the election victory of Barack Obama. Currently has the German manufacturer has two storage facilities in North America one in Ontario, Canada, the the second in California.
